24 Weeks along in Kona, Hawaii
March was a blur. 2 great vacations. One to Utah with very good friend Jenny. Lots of hilarious adventures I will never forget and fun desert running! The second to Hawaii with Scott for a babymoon.
A babymoon is like a honeymoon, however it is before the birth. One last hurrah before life as you know it changes forever. We had such a good time we decided a trip to Hawaii every winter kids or not should be the norm. Scott took his bike and I enjoyed the beach and running.
Speaking of running I am feeling really good and running regularly. I have been listening to my body more and not afraid to take that extra rest and naps when I need it. I even did hill repeats up Munson Mountain last week with my run team! 26 weeks along and I am taking every day I feel good as a blessing. I wasn't sure how being pregnant was going to go over with myself. This middle part has been my favorite so far. It took some time but I feel like I have embraced it. Finally.
Today was my 2,344th blood test. (sure does feel like it anyways!) This was a routine test for Gestational Diabetes and they tested my iron levels. Both GD and low iron levels have a tendency to crop up this time of pregnancy. I feel very energetic so I would be surprised if the iron was low or if I have GD. Find out the results in a week or so.
